Calderre
Calderre is a realm filled with lakes, forests, and large, snowy mountains. It is one of the few realms where magic is taught, encouraged, and protected. Calderre is a matriarchal society with a ruling queen who is elected from eligible young women descended from the royal family. The Royal Keep - the seat of power of the ruling councils, the military, and the Queen - sits at the heart of the realm near the base of a mountain range. A strong military program exists to protect the realm, including the elite “Lightening Forces” that provide specialized support and intelligence. Individuals with magic fleeing from other realms are welcome in the sanctuary realm.

Eldridge
Eldridge is geographically one of the largest realms in Aldreda. Its vast expanses include forests, great plains, mountains, and is bordered by a large stretch of ocean to the east. Multiple large cities dot the realm, which is ruled by a patriarchal monarchy from one of two castles - one on the sea and one inland. Magic is outlawed in Eldridge and users are persecuted. Though the realm’s military does enforce the laws associated with magic within the capital cities, the crown outsources the magic “problem” throughout the rest of the land to private military groups for profit. movements are brewing to change the landscape of society and improve the rights of the people.

Zamyra
Zamyra is a realm in the far south and is the home of ancient stone ruins, rainforests, and many unique creatures. The royal palace sits in the center of the land, made of impenetrable black amorite stone and covered by living vines. The ancient rulers of the realm were assassinated many generations ago and the new rulers have made sweeping, oppressive changes. Magic is currently outlawed and is punished by death or imprisonment, enforced by a harsh military. Because of the imposed strictness of current rulers, a strong secret community has been developing slowly over the years to support the people in their needs.
