Content notes (sometimes referred to as trigger warnings) are made available to readers who wish to be informed about potential content prior to reading the book. These books are filled with complex characters and situations, and the full range of light and dark that life entails. However, it is always my intent to be mindful and respectful of readers and their unique experiences and emotions.

Details are described in depth below. They are placed here as opposed to in the book descriptions or front pages so that they are available to those who want them but don’t describe potential spoiler-laden detail to those who prefer to be surprised.

Please do not read a given book if it includes material that may be offensive or upsetting to you. Whether that includes these books or not, I wish you well and hope you find the perfect book to read for your current time and place in life’s journey.

Chronicles of Aldreda

  • Language - mild, infrequent swearing

    Sex - multiple low heat sex scenes, described but non-graphic in detail

    Death of foes - death of enemies during battle scenes

    Death of loved ones - on page death of sibling, description of previous death of loved one

    Violence against children - physical violence and non-sexual abuse of children by the mercenaries holding the them prisoner (no family member occurrences) are referenced and lightly described but occur primarily off page

    Violence against foes - multiple close range battles scenes with light gore/detail

    Abduction & Captivity - descriptions of characters being abducted and held captive

    Torture - description and reference to torture of captives

    Drugs - referenced and lightly described use of drugs to control or manipulate captives

    Slavery - referenced and lightly described as a potential fate of the children taken for use of magic (labor camps, imprisonment, laboratory test subject mentioned)
